BE VOCAL

From times past till now knowledge, beliefs, ideas, value systems, history, culture, languages, discoveries and opinions have been circulated and passed on by who could be refered to as “a voice”. People have always been voices to knowledge and culture. The voice that speaks gives sustainability to knowledge. It’s highly important that you share what you know. You have to research and always aim to know more. Know more about green living, know more about your environment, know more about waste management, recycling and everything you possibly can. Rather know more than be ignorant about most things. When you’re equipped with knowledge, it is your responsibility to share your wealth of knowledge. Be a voice for knowledge.

A voice can be active or passive. People who actively advocate for a cause like activists are great examples of active voices. People who intentionally ensure to share the information they have are active voices. On the other hand, people who share information or knowledge just because the situation requires them to, not necessarily intentionally passing on the information are passive voices. Telling someone just because they asked about it is a passive way of voicing information. In any capacity, a voice will always stand out as a leader but an active voice is a greater leader.

SPEAK WITH ACTIONS
There are several ways to voice your knowledge and passion for the green living;

• Educate your family and friends on the subject matter and it’s importance.

• Use your social media platforms to speak as a voice for your knowledge.

• Host green living awareness campaigns or join our awareness campaigns.

• Documentation of knowledge of subject matter.

• Publicly carry out green living activities, truly actions speak louder than words.

Whatever you do to promote a healthy environment is not a wasted effort. All the needs of the human race are met by our environment therefore, showing care for your environment will enable the environment provide more for all. Many are yet to know and understand the importance of playing their role in preserving the environment but you can change that as a voice.
